You will be reassured to learn that the Governors have great regard to health and safety issues and they make regular visits to assess any risks.
You are requested not to bring your car into the drive up to the main academy as this is a turning circle. Parking is not permitted in the area outside the academy reception which is clearly labelled as being allocated to taxis and minibuses carrying the hearing impaired children. No child should walk through the car park. Footpaths should be used at all times.
The side and infant gates are locked soon after the start of the academy day and are unlocked again at the end of the day in time for collection. This prevents members of the public wandering through the academy site. The entrance is covered by CCTV and security codes.
To maintain a safe environment for everyone children are required not to cycle or scooter inside the academy grounds which includes younger siblings collecting school aged children.
Dogs are not permitted on site.
